Getting Released.

I'm getting released from rehab on Wed. To say I can't wait is an understatement, although I have to admit that it's a bit scary too. I'm going to move in with Nichole and take it day by day until I finish outpatient therapy. Thanks again to all who posted a comment.

Dear Jullie,
I personally believe that you are very brave and a serious roadmodel for most of us who cannot face their fears and remain securely locked in our closets. I am honored to have been able to read your blog and experienced your healing process. I am also very pleased that friends, subs and generally people have been responsive as well as supportive. It seems that despite all this havoc around us there is still people with real hearts and real feelings...
I am just a sub male and BDSM enthusiast from Greece.
I wish you all the best regards for your Health and loads of Happiness

Julie,

Several factors are catching up with you at once: some unacknowledged PTSD from the dog attack in '06, a drug addiction which is possibly a residue of your hospital stay, and plain ol' age. As you said, you're 37 going on 17. Fun's fun but there comes a time you have to put down the riding crop and be the adult self you always dismissed as the old woman you always hoped you'd never turn into. If that means putting the riding crop away for a year or two then so be it; your sanity comes first.

How's your horse, btw? Been back riding since the attack?

Hi Julie,
I was sad to see that your other link is gone, and that you haven't posted in awhile. I wish you the best of luck in 'recovery.' I hope all is well.

Hi Miss Julie:

I hope you are doing well in life and with your continuing recovery. I've actually tuned into your blog and used to visit your website, msjulie.com, frequently when it was up and running. However, I have never formally introduced myself. I am a submissive professional living in the Midwest and thought I would let you know that I have always enjoyed your website. I hope that life is treating you well these days. I note that I was actually looking at your wish list today and was thinking of purchasing something. However, I see that you have not added anything for awhile and was unsure whether you still accept gifts. Hope you are well. Greg

I never knew you were ill. Tried to send a message but this site probably foiled it. Never stopped thinking of you, from our first email messages when you started. Remember the Gweneth Paltrow photo?
